How To Upgrade Your Car And Make Every Ride More Fun

Everyone loves their car. Whether it’s a beat-up old banger or a much newer ride, cars become part of our personality and vibe. Cars are for taking long journeys and making magical memories – and, of course, for taking yourself to and from work from time to time!

Since you likely use your car so often for both long and short journeys, why not try to do some simple upgrades to your car to help make every ride more fun? There are a few things you can do – some simple, some not – that can make your car a more enjoyable place to be. Sounds good? Read on to find out more.

    Upgrade That Stereo

One of the best ways to upgrade your car experience from the inside is to upgrade your stereo. Taking a look at this guide, you’ll see that there are so many great options for modern, double DIN stereo systems. They don’t cost a fortune these days either, meaning you can get your hands on one and get it installed without breaking the bank.

The benefits of adding a more modern stereo are endless. Firstly, you’ll be able to connect all of your favorite devices from iPhones to tablets, playing your own music and video seamlessly. You’ll be able to do this through either Bluetooth or via a USB cable supplied with your stereo. This also means you’ll be able to answer calls hands-free whilst driving, taking away much of the risk of using a phone in the car.2

Aside from that, you’ll get access to great features like digital radio, with thousands of radio stations to choose from at the click of a button. You’ll be able to control how your audio sounds and even have it get louder as you drive faster. Overall, a new stereo is by far the easiest way to make your journeys more fun.

    Speakers

If you’re going to have an all-inclusive, awesome stereo, you’re going to want some new speakers, too. You don’t need to get speakers that vibrate the entire town’s front windows as you drive past, but you can get some great quality ones that make a huge difference to your audio experience within your car. Speak to a local garage or supplier to see what they can do for your car make and model.

    Change Your Seats

For comfort, style, and enjoyment, there’s nothing better than upgrading your seats. Think about how many miles your car has done – that’s how many miles your bum has spent in the car seat. It’s no wonder car seats get tired, faded, and less comfy over time.

If you’re looking for maximum comfort, racing seats can be a great option. These more bucketed seats provide excellent lumbar support whilst making your car look flash and brand new. If it works for touring car drivers, it will likely work for you!

    TVs in Seats

If you’re concerned about the people riding in the back of your car having a fun time, why not invest in some in-seat entertainment systems. They’re not as expensive as you might think and can help pass the time on long drives – especially if you have young kids in the back. Screens can be anywhere from 8-15 inches in diameter, providing great viewing for young ones and adults alike. Many of them connect to DVD players and the internet (via hotspot) so there will be plenty for your passengers to watch.

    Get Tinted Windows

If you want to feel a bit cooler when driving your newly comfortable ride, you might want to take a look at window tinting. This simply makes cars look so much cooler than they do without. You’ll also feel like you have just that little bit more privacy, so if you’re fond of singing your heart out in the car this will give you free rein to do so!

    Sound Proofing

Finally, if you’re going full audio, full entertainment, and tinted windows, you may as well go the whole way with some soundproofing for your car. This material goes within the door lining and under your floor mats and helps reduce road noise. It’s totally worth it if you don’t want your entertainment systems interrupted by loud vibrations and passing vehicles. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to hear sirens and horns!

All of these – or some of them combined – will make your car more fun and more relaxing at the same time. Choose which you think will suit you and get them installed right away. You’ll notice a difference from the very first minute.
